Hurricane Dean is certainly doing some damage to a former vacation spot of ours. We visited Mexico, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica on a 7 night cruise in 2005, and those areas are currently being pounded hard by Dean. It’s a little ironic considering we went to Costa Maya, Mexico, instead of Cozumel because that area had been hit so hard by another storm. Those areas never seem to catch a break.

On the other hand, Florida is catching a major break this year on storms. We haven’t had a single one threaten us all hurricane season, and here it is - almost September! (Knock on wood!)
